| Definition | "A chimeric protein that consists of part of the human KAT6B gene at the N terminus and part of the human CREBBP gene at the C-terminus. It includes the zinc fingers, 2 nuclear localization signals, the histone acetyltransferase (HAT) domain, a portion of the acidic domain of KAT6B and the zinc fingers, KIX domain, bromodomain and CREB-binding domain from CREBBP. This form is observed in some cases of acute myelogenous leukemia where chromosomal translocation occurs." [PMID:11157802] |
